Hi Ralph,

Well we're all delighted here in our tiny gang. Paul and I both took part in the Great Scottish Run on Sunday and did pretty well, we think. Paul started first with the 10km, he did this in 38:56 mins, which was excellent and placed him 61st. I did the half marathon in 2:01:36, placing not really relevant for me really but I was delighted as I was determined to do it in 2 hours. There were over 20,000 entrants, about 7000 of those were doing the 10km and the rest were in the half marathon.

Just looking for the next challenge now. Everest maybe :-) OK perhaps that's a bit adventurous at this stage but one day. We did have tickets before to go to Nepal as we were heading to do the Everest base camp trek but due to problems at the time with the Maoist people taking hostages, we decided it might not be our best idea. Also we heard that base camp is a complete mess, littered with rubbish from travellers, which is a shame really. You would think that if people made the effort to travel such a distance to see such a sight, they'd keep it tidy. Obviously not everyone cares   about such things.

Anyway, just thought I'd let you know how we did. Hope you had a lovely time here, although I imagine you were tired after all the visiting. Maybe one day we'll do a trek down to your end of the country.

Love Tracey, Paul and Oisin. x
